The CeMM Research Report 2024 explores the central role of mathematics in life sciences. From atomic interactions to complex biological systems, the report highlights how equations underpin our understanding of measurable and predictable phenomena. As a creative expression of this theme, the CeMM community collectively designed a calculator-inspired cover during a team outing.
Each research and administrative group contributed a mathematical formula symbolic of their work, turning the report into a fusion of science, art, and collaboration. With support from photographer Klaus Pichler and theater artist Wolfgang Kainz, the result is a vibrant and visually striking documentation of scientific curiosity and team spirit.
