About us
The metabolomics team aims to characterize metabolites in a given sample (cells or tissues) under a given condition. Samples are very diverse and include, but are not limited to, body fluids (plasma, serum, urine), cells, tissues, and feces. We provide targeted assays for all common metabolites but are also developing methods upon request.
We offer:
A targeted assay covering around 200 metabolites of central carbon metabolism and related pathways.
A targeted lipids assay covering phospholipids, sphingolipids, glycerolipids, and sterol-esters. Additionally, it includes glycosphingolipids and free cholesterol.
A sensitive targeted assay for amino acids and carnitines
A sensitive targeted assay targeting metabolites involved in the tricarboxylic acid and the urea cycle.
