About us
The Chemical Screening Facility at CeMM provides internal and external researchers, as well as commercial project partners, with access to advanced chemical biology resources. These include 5k annotated and 100k diversity chemical compounds, state-of-the-art high-throughput screening equipment, as well as miniaturized high-throughput chemical synthesis services (“Direct-to-Biology” approach), enabling the identification and characterization of small molecules that modulate biological targets. This supports the study of complex biological processes and the development of new innovative therapeutic compounds.
We are a highly skilled and motivated team, that offers comprehensive support throughout all stages of the screening workflow—ranging from library and compound selection to assay planning, computational and wet-lab assay preparation, assay execution, data analysis and follow-up experiments.
The facility offers a range of well-established routine screening assays, both cell-based and biochemical, while also providing the flexibility to implement specialized methodologies and support assay development. In addition to full screening services, we also offer access to our equipment to support miniaturization and/or automation of experimentation.
