Application Process

Advance your path to research independence with the CeMM Pre-ERC Postdoc Program. Below you will find key information on eligibility, how to apply, and the application timeline for the program.

Eligibility Criteria

To apply for the CeMM Pre-ERC Postdoc Program, you must meet the following requirements:

• PhD Requirement: You must hold a PhD, or expect to be awarded your PhD by the time the program begins. Your PhD defense must have taken place no earlier than 2024.
• Publication Requirement: You must have at least one first-author publication published by the time you start the program.

How to Apply

Submit your application through our online application system. As part of your application, you will be asked to fill in a basic application form and upload the following documents:

• Cover letter including a short summary of your research interests and mentioning which CeMM research group(s) you are interested in joining.
• Curriculum Vitae (CV).
• Academic transcripts.
• Contact details of three referees.

You will also be asked to record and submit a short video explaining your motivation for applying to the CeMM Pre-ERC Postdoc Program.

All applications are thoroughly reviewed by members of the CeMM Faculty.
