Dear CeMM and Adjunct Members,

The preventive medical check-up, performed by our HelmCare occupational physicians, is covered by your health insurance and can be completed free of charge once per year. You can ask your general practitioner for a so-called "Vorsorgeuntersuchung", visit a specialized health center, or participate in a preventive medical check-up organized by occupational health consultants, as we offer now. The program aims to assess individual health risks, raise awareness of preventive healthcare, and provide a medical consultation.

First step: 

Taking place in the medical care room on level 2 on Friday, 25 September 2026, and in the large seminar room on level 8 on Monday, 28 September, and Wednesday, 30 September 2026.

• Blood draw (no food/drinks after midnight(!), a glass of water in the morning is fine)
• Urine sample collection (please bring the filled cup; you can pick up a plastic cup & paper bag from a box at the main entrance on level 1 during the days before your appointment)  
• Stool sample collection (if you are 45 years or older, you can pick up a sampling kit from the same box)
• Hand-over of the filled-in medical history questionnaire in German or English 
  Please note that the form must be fully completed (including your height, weight, and BMI) to be considered valid!

Second step:

You will receive a separate email in due course to book an individual appointment in October/November for:

• ECG, blood pressure, and lung function test
• Review of your blood/urine/stool test results and medical history with the physician
• If requested, vaccination advice

CeMM will not have access to your medical results. All medical data remains confidential between you and HelmCare. CeMM only supports the organizational process.

Please note that no Outlook calendar invitation will be sent. You may arrive at any time, but no later than 15 minutes before the time slot ends.
