CeMM has been honored with the German Brand Award in the category of Excellence in Brand Strategy and Creation in the field of Education & Research!

In 2022, after 15 years of exceptional research and growth, we knew it was time to adapt our corporate identity to reflect our progress and achievements. We embarked on a collaborative effort with our talented team of scientists, administration, and alumni to highlight CeMM's identity, values, and aspirations.

In close collaboration with the creative design agency Büro X, we crafted a new image, and presented our new motto, "Science is our Medicine". The new logo embodies innovation, precision, and strength, while the visual elements pay homage to our mother institution, the Austrian Academy of Sciences. The rebranding journey permeated every aspect of CeMM, from the logo on the façade of our building to our research report, which showcases our boldness, impact, and leadership in technological and biomedical innovation.

For us at CeMM, corporate identity has a special meaning. It connects us beyond the boundaries of the building with our CeMM adjunct colleagues outside and also with our cherished alumni. Wherever our special shade of blue appears, there is most likely one of us, one of our “CeMMies”. The claim "Science is our Medicine" is not an end in itself, it builds the bridge to society. Behind every medical treatment, there is science. With this powerful message, we want to strengthen the awareness of this.

The recognition with the German Brand Award is a testament to our approach to building a strong brand and corporate identity that reflects our commitment to excellence and research. It inspires us to continue being creative and pointing out the importance of science in society.
