Launched in autumn 2020, the Pre-ERC Postdoc Program embodies this commitment by redefining postdoctoral training —not merely as a transitional phase after earning a PhD, but as a strategic pursuit of scientific excellence and leadership. 

This competitive postdoctoral program is specifically designed to prepare researchers for a successful ERC Starting Grant or comparable competitive grant application. The ultimate goal is to launch participants into independent research career at top-tier research institutions.
