Eva Schlegel (*1960, Hall, Tyrol) studied with Oswald Oberhuber at the University of Applied Arts, Vienna (1979–1985) and served as Professor for Photography at the Academy of Fine Arts, Vienna (1997–2006). After participating in the Venice Biennial in 1995, she was commissioner of the Austrian Pavilion in 2011. For the CeMM Brain Lounge she created a chair backrest artwork.
